Concept

A threshold test is the same counting pattern you have already used: decide which elements qualify and tally them.

You recorded the temperature each day in temps. Return how many readings are strictly greater than threshold.

Examples

▸ temps = [30, 25, 40, 22], threshold = 27

→ 2

▸ temps = [], threshold = 10

→ 0

▸ temps = [15], threshold = 10

→ 1

Progressive Hints

Only the readings that beat the bar get counted.

Hint 2 · Plan

Start a counter at 0 and loop over the temperatures. Bump the counter whenever a reading is strictly greater than threshold. Return the counter.

count = 0. For each t in temps: if t > threshold then count = count + 1. Return count.
